President's Office Hours

Students, faculty, and staff who wish to have a private conversation and share ideas with President Laura Sparks are invited to attend President’s Office Hours. Dates and times are listed below for these one-on-one meetings for the semester.

For the spring semester, 20-minute Office Hour appointments are available either in the President's Office or via Microsoft Teams. Please be sure to include your full name, Cooper Union email, and location preference when signing up for your preferred date. Fabian Gonzalez from the President's Office will follow up to confirm your appointment.

  • Founded by inventor, industrialist and philanthropist Peter Cooper in 1859, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art offers education in art, architecture and engineering, as well as courses in the humanities and social sciences.

  • “My feelings, my desires, my hopes, embrace humanity throughout the world,” Peter Cooper proclaimed in a speech in 1853. He looked forward to a time when, “knowledge shall cover the earth as waters cover the great deep.”
